High tech is new, but the principle is much the same as when the industrial revolution began in Europe during the 1700s. People wanted better and faster ways of achieving their goals. The goals, per se, did not change. Before the industrial revolution, people wanted to be happier, to feel better. During the industrial revolution, people wanted to be happier and feel better. After the industrial revolution, people still want to be happier and feel better. Nothing, after all, has really changed.

What we do at Hooduku is help our customers avoid problems by anticipating them and taking steps designed to prevent their occurrence. That doesn't mean we can't troubleshoot. This oxymoron is a reflection of the fact that, despite having gained popularity in the early 1980s, computer technology has been traditionally in a world of its own. In a way, this is not surprising. Although most of us understand the basics of operating a computer, few understand how it works. It takes a certain type of personality to go through the process of studying computer science, experimenting with the technology, and applying it. In fact, it takes a certain type of personality to even read the help file of a word processing application. Most people use word processers as glorified typewriters.
